Funeral services for Mr. Allen "Teddy" Norwood, Jr. will be 2 PM Saturday, October 11, 2025, at New Zion Baptist Church Winnsboro with Rev. Tommy Basco officiating, with interment to follow in New Zion Church Cemetery, visitation will be Friday 5-8 PM at New Zion Baptist Church all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA.

Mr. Norwood a member of New Zion Baptist Church was born September 29, 1955, in Winnsboro, LA to union of the late Allen Theodore Norwood and the late Mary Wright Norwood.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister Debbie Campbell, and a brother, Larry Wayne Norwood.

Teddy is survived by his wife Sunday Norwood; children, Chris Norwood and his wife Chloe, Roger Lee "Pete" Wright and wife Marisa, Danny Ray Wright and wife Tammy, Leslie Smith and Husband Jason, Jennifer Wilhite and husband Dusty, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Dianne Hodge, Janet Norwood, and Kay Norwood; brothers, Mike Norwood and his wife Sue, Jimmy Norwood and his wife Lisa

Pallbearers are Brent Erwin, Michael Naron, Jamie Norwood, Nick Norwood, Tylar Walker, and Tra Walker.

Honorary Pallbearer is James Mobley
