Anna "Francine" Pfaff

Memorial Services for Anna Francine Nixon Pfaff, 79, of Winnsboro, La, will be Saturday, October 10,2026, at 2PM in the chapel of Dennard First National Funeral Home, under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA.

Francine was born January 30,1947 in Natchez, MS to the union of the late Howard D Nixon and the late Anna Belle Gemar Nixon, and passed away September 26, 2026, in Winnsboro, LA, following a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Francine was a devoted Catholic, whom loved animals, especially cats. She was very well educated, earning her Masters +30, and loved to educate others. She taught most of her career, becoming Principal the last 15 years, until retirement. Francine loved all of her students and remembered them very well. After retirement, Mrs. Francine devoted her time to her Granddaughter, Remington, whom she absolutely adored.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Those left to carry on her memory are her husband, John Pfaff, one daughter, Donya Bradley of Drummond, TN, her amazing granddaughter, Remington Elizabeth Bass-Bradley also of Drummond, TN one “niece”, Samantha Steven Bradley of Millington, TN, “sister” cousin, Dianne (Kenneth) Keith of D’Lo, MS, as well as extended family, many friends, and tons of students.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Patrick’s Pals, Winnsboro, LA, your local humane society, or donate a library book to your local middle school library.
