Under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA.Mrs. Anna was born November 1, 1938, in West Lake, LA to the Union of the late John Albert Shafer and late Winnie Kate Cash, and passed away August 3, 2024, in Winnsboro, LA. She was a member of St. Joseph Baptist Church, and she loved her family and fishing, she enjoyed making flowers and owned her own shop The Daisy Patch.Mrs. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, husband Huey Pierce Russell, Sr.; four brothers, Wiley Phillip Shafer, Jack Shafer, Gordon Shafer, and Donnie Shafer.She is survived by her daughter, Marie Russell Harlow and her husband Barry of Newellton, LA; three sons, Huey 'Rusty' Russell, Jr. of St. Joseph, LA, Robert Wade Russell and wife Delores of Newellton, LA, and Donald Russell of McKenzie, TN; one sister, Sybil Miller and her husband Chester of Lake Charles, LA; fourteen grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.The family would like to express special thanks to Plantation Nursing Home and Rehabilitation, and Staff for their loving Care over the years.Online registry/condolences at www.dennardfirstnational.com
