Funeral services for Audrey Lee Clark Hammett, 87, of Rayville, LA, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Eastside Baptist Church, Rayville, LA with Rev. Chris Crawford and Rev. Johnny Smith officiating, visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church, all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home - Winnsboro. A private interment will be at Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.Mrs. Audrey is a member of Eastside Baptist Church, owned and operated 103 Truck stop and Bee Bayou Truck stop, she loved giving and quilting.Mrs. Audrey was born November 8, 1935, and passed on to her heavenly reward at Deerfield Nursing and Rehab in Delhi, LA, January 29, 2023.She is preceded in death by her father, Ed Clark and mother, Mamie Pearl White Patrick; her husband Charles Clifton Hammett; two sisters Elaine Fortenberry and Lela Matthews; and two brothers Harlon Clark and Leroy Clark.Mrs. Audrey is survived by her daughter Charline Odom and husband Roger of Archibald, LA; son Charles 'Chuck' Hammett and wife Connie of Rayville, LA; and daughter Charlotte Whatley and husband Tony of Lake Providence, LA; 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren; Special friend like a daughter, Mickey Nicholson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other cherished family and friends.Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Nicholson and Paul Slayter.
