Funeral services for Barbara Sue Siddon Thompson, 88, of Winnsboro, LA will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, with Father Jason Gootee officiating, burial will follow at Providence Memorial Cemetery; visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home; all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home.

Mrs. Thompson is a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Winnsboro, she worked for Franklin State Bank for fifty-one (51) years; she dearly loved her dogs and cats.

Mrs. Thompson was born to the union of the late Roger Ashford Siddon and the late Tressie Annie Lee Howington Siddon September 8, 1934, and passed from this life July 1, 2023, at Plantation Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her parents, her father -in-law Ralph Thompson, and mother -in-law Pauline Thompson. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Frank Thompson; her sons: Mark Thompson (Ruth) and Todd Thompson; grandchildren, Ethan Thompson, Emily Thompson, Jake Thompson, and Melonie Bonner; great-grandchildren: Maddie Bonner, Atticus Crook, Adalyn Sage Thompson, Charlie Winborne, and Maddox Thompson; sister Madge Wilson, and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Pallbearers are Mark Thompson, Todd Thompson, Ethan Thompson, Jake Thompson, Brian Wilson, and Wade Thompson.

The honorary pallbearer is Jimmy Thompson.
