Bernice "Boots" Griffith

Bernice "Boots" Griffith, 80, of Fort Necessity, Louisiana, passed away on June 24, 2026. Born on September 11, 1945, Boots enjoyed spending time outdoors, tending to her flowers, and being with her family. She was known for the love she had for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and for always keeping the cookie jar stocked for them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Griffith; her daughter, Shelley Griffith Tatum; and seven siblings.

She is survived by her son, Michael Griffith; her sister, Audrey Berry (Randolph); her grandchildren, Morgan Griffith (Christian), Rachael Kopras (Stephen), Leah Tatum, and Matthew Tatum; her great-grandchildren, Raylan Kopras and William Kopras; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Boots will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to family, and the many memories she shared with those she loved.

In accordance with her wishes, funeral service will be held Saturday, June 27th at 11:00am, visitation at 10:00am at Dennard First National Funeral Home.
