Betty Ann Ward

Graveside services for Betty Ann Ward, 81, of Winnsboro will be held 11 am Wednesday, September 30, 2026, in New Winnsboro Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Hunt, Jr. and Rev. Karl Huff officiating. Visitation will be 9 – 10 am Wednesday at Dennard First National Funeral Home.

Betty Ann was born July 5, 1945, in Winnsboro to the late Marvin Bowlin and the late Dorothy Ezell Bowlin and passed from this life on September 27, 2026, in Monroe at St. Francis Medical Center.

Betty Ann was a member of Church of Christ in Winnsboro. She was a receptionist at AMR and Ridgecrest Nursing Home.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Those left to cherish her memory include her three children: Stephen Craig Ward and his wife Sarah, Patricia Ann Lively and Jacky Weems, and Charles Kevin Ward and his wife Brandy; two sisters: Jean Rhodes and husband Buddy, and Shirley Wilcher and husband Dalton; one brother, Wayne Bowlin and wife Kay; nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Plantation Manor for the four years of great care for Mom and St. Francis Specialty Hospital 7th floor Staff and ACG Hospice.
