A memorial service for Billy Earl McVay, 79, of Winnsboro, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Wayside Pentecostal Church, with Rev. Tommy Cotton and Rev. Ron Charrier officiating.

Billy was born to the union of the late Eva Huff McVay and the late Lonnie McVay, May 26, 1945; and went to his heavenly reward October 14, 2024, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Ms.

Billy was a supervisor with the town of Mangham water and sewer department for many years; he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Willie, Charles, and L.T. McVay; and sisters: Lillian McKay and Pat Woodall.

Billy is survived by his wife of fifty-four (54) years, Margaret Ann McVay; daughter Candy Mathews (Gary); son Randy McVay (Jessica); grandchildren: Cody, Cameron, and Maddie Mathews; Chloe and Randi Claire McVay, and Charlie Lord; and many other family members and friends.
