Obituary

Funeral services for Mrs. Bobbie Lou Rolen, 86, of Winnsboro, LA will be 11 AM Monday, September 15, 2025, at First Baptist Church Crowville with Rev. Terry Ganey and Rev. Wade Coker officiating, interment to follow in Ogden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Sunday at the funeral home and 10 AM until service time Monday at the Church all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA.

Bobbie was born September 7, 1939, in Delhi, LA to the union of the late Fred Alvin Goodman and the late Annie Laurie Goodman, and passed away September 11, 2025, in Monroe, LA. She was an active member of First Baptist Church Crowville, and WMU and Sunday School when she attended Temple Baptist Church and was also Sunday school director for 30 years at Boeuf River Baptist Church in her early years. She also was a retired Sears store manager and retired from Franklin Medical Center Business office, and a two term Franklin Parish School Board Member.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Ray Johnston, and Henry P. Rolen, a son Billy Ray Johnston, Jr., brothers Larry Goodman, Ronnie Goodman, Billy Goodman, her sister Betty Plunkett, and a daughter-in-law, Jackie Walker Johnston.

Family members left to cherish her memory are her son, Jeff Johnston of Liddieville, LA; daughter, Angelyn Ward and her husband Eddie of Crowville, LA; sister, Audrey McKinley and husband Sonny; grandchildren, Kenneth Johnston, Chris Ward and his wife Renee', Jessi Spinks and her husband Ryan; great grandchildren, Elijah Ward and wife Bailey, Ethan Ward, Abram Spinks, and Addison Spinks; one great great grandson Wixson Ward and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Billy Goodman, Corey Goodman, Stoney Goodman, Paul McKinley, Ryan Spinks,Chris Ward, and Eddie Ward.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Alan Goodman, Freddie Goodman, Ricky Johnston and Michael McKinley.

Memorial may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
