Funeral services for Bobby Ray Fortenberry, 87, of Winnsboro, will be held a 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, with Rev. Chad Hatton officiating, with interment following in Ogden Cemetery in Liddieville; visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service; all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro

Bobby Ray enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and "precision" yard mowing; he was a retired autobody business owner.
Bobby was born August 7, 1937, in Winnsboro to the union of the late James Thomas Fortenberry and the late Myrtle Marie Ashley Fortenberry, and passed from this life July 17, 2024, at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents; daughter Debo Westerburg; brothers Charles Edward Fortenberry and Jerry Neal Fortenberry; and sister Dixie Marie Milton.
He is survived by his wife Gertrude Posey Fortenberry; sons Ricky Fortenberry and wife Amy and Scott Fortenberry and wife Leah; daughter Penny Halbrook and husband John; seven (7) grandchildren; seven (7) great-grandchildren; sisters Judy Dianne Brown and Donna Fortenberry; many nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends.
Pallbearers are Chandler Boles, Brady Fortenberry, Brandon Fortenberry, Chris Fortenberry, Shawn Fortenberry and Trace Fortenberry.
Honorary pallbearers are Joey Westerberg and John Halbrook.
