Funeral services for Bobbie Jene Johnson, 86, of Harrisonburg, LA, will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Birds Creek Baptist Church, Harrisonburg, LA, with Rev. Fred Day and Rev. Gene Chelette officiating, visitation will be at the church from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday evening, interment will be at Harrisonburg Hill Cemetery, all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro.Bobby, a member of Birds Creek Baptist Church, was a Deputy Sheriff of Catahoula Parish for twenty-seven (27) years, along with having a 40 plus year career of house painting.Deputy Johnson was born to the union of the late Howard Johnson and the late Elvie J. Emfinger Johnson June 4, 1935, in Gilbert, LA, and entered his heavenly reward March 27, 2022, in Winnsboro, LA.Bobby is preceded in death by his parents; great-granddaughter Ashley Ferrington; brother Sherman 'Buddy' Johnson; sister Dorothy Johnson Hair and husband Joe Hair; sister, Gracie Johnson Arnold; and daughter-in-law Debbie Ogden Johnson.Bobby is survived by his wife Patsy Huff Johnson of Harrisonburg, LA; children: Rickey Lynn Johnson and wife Linda of Harrisonburg, LA, Kerry Jean Johnson Ferrington and husband Floyd of Harrisonburg, LA, David Wayne Johnson of Harrisonburg, LA, and Dorothy Ann Johnson Chelette and husband Gene of West Monroe, LA; brother-in-law W.G.
