Bobby L. Parker

Funeral services for Bobby L. Parker, 73, of Winnsboro will be held 2 pm Thursday, August 6, 2026, in the chapel of Dennard First National Funeral Home with Rev. Trevor Warren and Mike Galloway officiating. Interment will follow in Legion Memorial Cemetery, Newellton. Visitation will be 12 noon until time of service on Thursday.

Bobby was born March 30, 1953, in Winnsboro to the late J. S. Reppond and the late Mary Parker Reppond and passed peacefully from this life on August 1, 2026, at his home in Winnsboro.

Bobby grew up on the family farm; he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He worked 42 years with Rowan Co. Inc. where he worked his way up to Senior Rig Manager. He met Joyce when they were teens and become high school sweethearts, but life took them in different directions and after 20 years brought them back together and they were wed in November 2, 1992. Bobby was loved by everyone and was a friend to all.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Jessica Parker; and his brother, James Reppond.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 34 years, Joyce Galloway Parker; his four children: Angela Parker Watson, Bobbie Marie Parker, Clint Harris, and Vicki Harris-Pyles and her husband Todd; five grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; his two sisters: Rita Raney and her husband Dennis, Ronnie Erwin and her husband Bruce; one brother, Timmy Reppond and his wife Sherry; special sister-in-law, Loyce Galloway-Williamson and her husband Ricky; two special nephews: John Teague and his wife Danielle, Rusty Wagoner; a host of other relatives and many friends.

Pallbearers will be Teddy Glass, Jason Jarrett, Joey Jarrett, Derrial Parker, Jr., Derrial Parker, Sr., and Gerald Tullos.
