Funeral services for Thomas Brent Tanner, 63, of Monroe, will be held 11 am Wednesday March 4, 2026, at Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Prentis Gandy officiating.  Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home, Winnsboro. Visitation will be 10 am until time of service at the church.

Brent was born March 19, 1962, in Collins, MS to the late Farrell Tanner and the late Bernice Gardner Tanner and passed from this life on February 28, 2026, at his home in Monroe.

Brent is preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to cherish his memory include the love of his life Tonya Renee Brown of Monroe, LA; his daughter, Brittany Tanner of Vicksburg, MS; three grandchildren: Paisley, Kolby, and Laekyn.

Pallbearers will be Colton Brown, Holden Brown, Chandon Cobb, John Johnson, and Johnny McMillan.
