Funeral Celebration for Brett Welch, “Man-Man” 7 of Winnsboro, LA will be held 10 AM Monday, August 17, 2026, at Dennard First National Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Matt Easterling officiating, interment to follow in Eureka Baptist Church Cemetery, visitation will be 5 – 8 pm Sunday, August 16, 2026, at the funeral home all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA.

Brett a member of Fish Bayou Baptist Church was born February 20, 2019, in Monroe LA, and went to be with the Lord August 10, 2026. He was always running wide open and ready to go anytime anywhere and wanted to be police officer when he grew up. He enjoyed playing games and outside with his monster trucks, RC cars, and he was a natural jokester.

Brett was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents DeWayne and Betty Hill, maternal step grandfather Paul DeVille, paternal grandparents Michael and Beverly Ann Welch.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother Becky Welch, and his father Mike Welch; 2 sisters, Chelsea Welch and Haley Welch; three stepsisters, Alyssa Minchew, Maddie Minchew and Alissa Mullins; stepbrother Xavier Adir; niece Olivia Griffing; grandfather Brett Graves, uncle Donovan Hill, and a host of close family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Norwood, Leroy Gibson, Jesse Hayden, and Michael Jones.
