Funeral services for Bridgette McBroom, 45, of Baskin, will be 10 am Friday, February 21, 2025, at Baskin Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Rogers, Rev. Marc Kelly, and Rev. Scott Covington officiating. Interment will follow in Baskin Cemetery under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5:30 – 7:30 pm Thursday, February 20, at the church.

Bridgette was born November 13, 1979, in Monroe to the union of the late George Thomas "Tommy" McBroom and Pamela Gray McBroom and passed from this life on February 15, 2025, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge.

Bridgette graduated with the last graduating class of Baskin High School in 1997 and University of Louisiana – Monroe in 2002. She owned B's Beauties, dog grooming and boarding. She loved animals, plants, and working in the yard. She was an avid supporter of organ donation after she received a transplant in 2019 and saved at least three lives by donating her organs in 2025.

She is preceded in death by her father, Tommy McBroom; paternal grandparents, George and Iva McBroom; maternal grandfather, Grady Gray; and aunts: Joni Gray, Rose Mary Thompson, and Joanna McBroom; and uncle, Jerry Gray.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Pam McBroom; her son, Blaze Turbeville; sister, Britni McBroom; and grandmother, Modena Gray all of Baskin; special cousins, Jeremy Gray and Kristy Gray; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Pallbearers will be Victor Cowart, Zach Frasier, Jeremy Gray, Neil Hixon, Shane Hixon, and Caleb Oglesbee.

Honorary pallbearer will be Todd Lee.
