Funeral services for Bruce Jackson, 67, of Alto, LA will be 3 PM Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Life Church Winnsboro, with Rev. Kevin Bates, Rev. Ben Stratton and Rev. John Wesley Jones officiating, interment to follow in Gwin Cemetery Mangham, LA , visitation will be Saturday 2 PM until service time at the church all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA.

Bruce, a retired Wildlife Tech with LDWLF was born in Rayville, LA on November 3, 1957, to the late Tom Jackson and the late Dixie Baskin Jackson. He loved the Lord with all his heart. When he got saved in 2001 and his life took a dramatic change, he chased after the Lord with all his heart and was ordained in 2018.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years Lora Mercer Jackson of Alto, LA; daughter, Marsha Gibson and her husband Vernon of Houston; son BJ Jackson and his wife Stephany of Mangham, LA; his grandsons, Bralyn, Carson, Ayden, Grayson, and Jacoby; granddaughter Taylor; brothers, Larry Jackson and his wife Sandra of Crowville, LA , Tony Jackson and his wife Kim, and Brad Jackson and his wife Brandy both of Baskin, LA; best friend Glenn Futch.

Pallbearers will be Chandler Jackson, Chris Jackson, Eric Jackson, Gunter Jackson, Randy Lively, and Chase McPherson.

Honorary Pallbearers are Keith Butler, and Glenn Futch.
