Carl Wayne Dear

Carl Wayne Dear, 83, of Baskin, LA, has been laid to rest in the Dear Family Cemetery; located within Baskin Cemetery, in Baskin, Louisiana. Carl was born August 24,1942 and departed this life on July 8, 2026; after an extended illness. Traditional funeral services were not held, according to his own request. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl C. and Avis Dear, his brother and sister in law, Dr. James R. Dear and Jayne Lyles Dear.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Jo Dear, his son and daughter in law, Jason Wayne Dear and Jeana Dear, three grandchildren, Kerri Elizabeth Patterson (Garrett), Anna Grace Dear, and Hunter Wayne Dear.

Arrangements were under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home, Winnsboro, LA.
