Obituary

Funeral Services for Carolyn Sue Mullins, 72, formerly from Winnsboro, LA, will be held Thursday, May 21,2026 in the chapel of Dennard First National, Toby Williams will be officiating, interment will take place in Ogden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5PM until 9PM, Wednesday, May 20,2026, at the funeral home. All under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home.

Carolyn was born January 29,1954 to the union of the late Harvey Cook and the late Pearly Holley Cook, in Winnsboro, LA, and passed away Sunday, May 17, 2026, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by her loving family.

Sue baby was a very loving person to everyone she met. Caregiving was her expertise, being able to help someone in need, was her calling. Sue baby loved to go to Pitt Grill and socialize with her friends, always getting the town gossip. Sue baby loved to talk, talk, talk. Mrs. Sue was saved as a child at Jesus Name Apostolic by Bro. Boothe.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, father of her children, Albert “Bo” Mullins Sr., one daughter, Janie Renee Mullins, two brothers, Aubrey Lynn Cook and Alvin Glen Cook, three sisters, Earline Jones, Louis Carroll, Deloris Wiggins, and one grandchild, Deasia “Honey” Mullins.

She is survived by her children, Hattie Elizabeth Piper (Alexandria), “Bo” Mullins Jr and wife Charinne (Pineville), Buffy Mullins(Hammond), Jody Mullins and wife Evelyn (Poland), Steve Edward Mullins and wife Shovel (Alexandria), and Charles Mullins Sr.(Poland), 26 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her God daughter, Shunda "Rose" Long, her road dog, Tammy Jo Mullins, two special sisters, Cheryl LaMothe and Jean Lambright, as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Donovan Bordelon, SirVelton Taylor (Poppa), Seth Vaughn, Mikey Brown, James Binder, and Christopher Mullins. Honorary pallbearers will be Kyra Mullins.
