Cassie Henry (Lucky) Phillips, Jr., a plant worker, was born December 02, 1954, in Honolulu, HI, to the union of the late Lois Ruby White Phillips and the late Cassie H. Phillips, Sr., and passed from this life January 01, 2024, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, after a long battle with cancer. A memorial service may be announced at a later date

Lucky is preceded in death by his parents, mother-in-law Mary Lee, father-in-law Gene Lee, and brother-in-law Gene Guice.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Linda Lee Phillips; sisters: Edna Ramsey of North Carolina, Linda Harkey of Louisiana, and Cathy Duran and husband Ralph of Minnesota; sister-in-law Debbie Bryan and husband Mark of Baskin; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
