Funeral services for Rev. Charles "Mickey" Alexander, 54 of Monroe, LA will be 10 am Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Holly Grove Baptist Church Wisner, LA, with Bro. Cecil Herrington, Bro. J. E. Brown and Bro. Johnny Smith officiating with interment to follow in church cemetery, visitation will be from 5-8 PM Friday, August 16, 2024, at the funeral home under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA.
Brother Alexander was born Nov. 28, 1969, in Natchez, MS to the union of the late Charles and the late Jessie Simms Alexander, and passed away August 13, 2024, in Monroe, LA. He was also preceded in death by his grandmother Effie Simms.
Mickey was pastor of Enterprise Baptist Church Farmerville, LA, and founding member of the singing group LA Melody Boys, he was a morning show radio host at 95.1 the Giant Natchez, MS. and with the Peach in Ruston as well as the BB River 101 in Vicksburg with the Radio People group.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years Katrina "Tina" Alexander of Monroe, LA; and his son Charles "Marty" Alexander also of Monroe, LA and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Pallbearers will be Marty Alexander, Nicholas Johnson, Joe Pharis, Kevin Perrin, Erby Thompson, and James Vincent.
Honorary Pallbearers are Sandra Alsobrooks, Mike Pennington, Wesley Vincent, and Adam Willbanks.
