Private family graveside services for Mr. Charles William Walton were held Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Providence Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Brian Rogers officiating. Uder the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA

Mr. Charles was born March 4, 1929, in Baskin, LA to the union of the late John Walton and the late Florence Jackson Walton, and passed away October 24, 2023, at his residence in Baskin, LA.

He was a member of the Baptist Faith and was a United States Army Veteran and a retired Toolmaker from Illinois Tool Works, He was an avid fisherman and loved fishing with his wife, and gardening, He was a very special man and deeply loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Nelline Walton, a son, Fred Allen Walton, three sisters and one brother.

Mr. Charles is survived by his daughter Angela Lynn and her husband the late Gary Landwehr of SO Elgin, IL; three sons, Mike Walton and his wife Lolit of Addison, IL, Steve Walton and his wife Mary of Mammoth Spring, AR, and Robert Walton and his wife Diana of Baskin, LA; ten (10) grandchildren; sixteen (16) great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

His family served as pallbearers.
