Funeral services for Mrs. Charlotte Anne Batey, 76 , of Wisner, LA will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Dennard Chapel with Rev. Kevin Bates officiating, interment to follow in Holly Grove Cemetery Wisner. The family will be receiving friends from 10-11 am until service time Tuesday at the funeral home all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA.

Charlotte was always laughing and enjoying life, especially when she was with her family and her grandchildren. She was born October 1, 1949, in Arkansas and passed away December 26, 2025, in Jackson, MS.

She was preceded in death by her parents , H. B. and Mary Jane Wilson, husband of 40 years Ken Batey, daughter, Julie Batey Smith, sister, Linda Ready, son Keith Patrick Batey, and great grandson, Cotten Mullican.

Those left to cherish her laugh and memories are her, granddaughters, Lindsey Mullican and husband Nick, and Annabella Smith; great grandchildren Cash and Carson Mullican; sisters Marsha Mitchell and husband Raymond, Susan Prunty, Jane Rials, Mary Free and husband Curtis, and Peggy Johns; brothers, Jimmy Wilson and wife Edna, Billy Wilson and wife Tammy, Bobby Wilson and wife Wanda, Stanley Wilson and Wife Annette, and Randy Wilson and wife Marsha, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be: Billy Wilson , Garth Wilson, Dustin Wilson , Ashley Prunty , Damien Agosta, and Joey Ferrington.
