Memorial services for Chris "Buzzy" Busby, 52, of Winnsboro will be 6 PM Friday, February 23, 2024, in the chapel of Dennard First National Funeral Home.

Chris was born June 13, 1971 in Monroe and passed from this life on February 19, 2024, at his residence in Winnsboro.

Chris was a wonderful father to his three children; as he was raising his children he had to learn as he went. He loved music and being a DJ; he also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Chris was always late for everything earning him the name "Late Buzzy".

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George Columbus Busby and Addie Dean Busby.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Louise Busby Butler of Winnsboro; three children: Christopher Ryan Busby and wife MeLaina of West Monroe, Andrew Bryce Busby of Nashville, TN, and Lauren Elisabeth Rodriguez and husband Juan of West Monroe; two grandchildren: Vannah and Christopher Busby; special brothers: David Easterling of Columbia and Joe Easterling of Jigger; three stepsisters: Tiffany Smith of Deville, Mandi Butler of Nashivlle, TN, and Randi and Chris Lampkin of Marion, TX; and a host of other relatives and many friends.
