It's with great love and sadness that we gather here today for the passing of our beloved mother, Connie Bamburg Brady. Who left us on 7/22/2026, at the loving age of 67. She was born on January 30, 1959, in Newellton, La. to James Coleman Bamburg and Emma Jean Fussell. Connie was married to Billy C Thompson, which resulted in the birth of her four beautiful children Connie Elizabeth Thompson, Billy C Thompson Jr, Tanya Nicole Thompson, and the youngest James Edward Thompson. Her interest in life was her family, making sure her flowers bloomed every year, and that the neighboring kids had plenty of snacks.

She never forgot birthdays or Christmas; no matter the financial state she was in. You always got a card with a thoughtful message from her devoted heart. Loving survivors include three children BJ and Jessica Thompson (Missouri), Tanya Thompson (Louisiana), and James and Jess Thompson (Missouri). 2 siblings Shirley Laborde, Tiger and Denise Bamburg. Six granddaughters and 3 grandsons. One nephew and 2 Nieces. A loving and devoted Companion Andy Wilhite. As well as her loving family and friends. She is proceeded in death by her mother Emma Jean Fussell and her father's James Bamburg, Virgil Fussell "aka" Fuzz. Her brother in-law Buddy Laborde. One niece Melissa Hopkins and lost but never forgotten her angel in the sky "Little Connie"
