Dahlia Mae Ferrington

Funeral services for Mrs. Dahlia Mae Ferrington, 84 of Winnsboro, LA will be 10 AM Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Shady Grove Baptist Church Jigger, LA with Rev. Kevin Bates and Rev. Nathan Roberts officiating. Interment to follow in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, visitation will be Monday May 18, 2026, from 5-8 PM at the Church all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA.

Mrs. Dahlia worked at Franklin Community Services for 20 + years and enjoyed reading and cooking, especially baking the best cakes for family members’ birthdays, she also loved to dance.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Johnson and Epsie Hitt Johnson, husband Mickey Ferrington, a daughter Sheri Miller, great grandson Ethan Cottingham, and son-in-law Jimmy Wallace.

Those left to cherish her memory and tell the stories are her daughter, Debbie Wallace, son Jerry Hutto; granddaughter, Melany Cottingham (Michael), Jimmy Wallace, Jr. (Jamie), Stephen Miller (Harley), Shelby Miller (Mallorie), Morgan Hutto, and Jerae Hutto; great grandchildren, Eli Cottingham, Caden Wallace, Colston Wallace, Creed Wallace, Walker Wallace, Carson Miller, Kenelee Miller, Cole Clark, Rylea Williamson, Judge Smith, and Jed Ryder Smith; and a great great granddaughter, Caroline Williamson.

Pallbearers will be Cole Clark, Eli Cottingham, Michael Cottingham, Johnny Jemerson, Stephen Miller, Shelby Miller, and Jimmy Wallace, Jr.

Great grandchildren will be honorary pallbearers.
