Graveside services for Darrell W. Wilson, Jr., of Newellton, LA, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton, LA with Rev. Larry Foster officiating. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at the funeral home, under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro, LA.
Darrell was born to the union of Darrell W. Wilson, Sr. and Bulah Wactor Wilson on June 2, 1943; and passed from this life November 17, 2019 in Newellton, LA.
Darrell was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors. He was a mechanic who worked for Shelton Hosea Chevrolet in Newellton and for Panola Farms.
He was preceded in death by his parents Darrell W. Wilson, Sr. and Beulah Wactor.
He is survived by his son Tim Wilson and wife Melanie of West Monroe; Sister Lucy Lake and husband Phillip of Brandon, MS; four Grandchildren Lisa Wilson of West Monroe, Brittany Cardoza of Dodson, Cody Weaks of Pensacola, FL, and Brandon Wilson of West Monroe; and two Great-Grandchildren, Rowan Breaux and Paul Cardoza, Jr.
