Funeral services for David Marshall, 57 of Delhi, LA will be 3 PM Friday, July 25, 2025, at Lamar Baptist Church Delhi, LA with Rev. Jessie Nielsen officiating with interment to follow in Start Cemetery, visitation will be Friday from 1-3 PM at the church, all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA.

David a Farmer and Welder, was born June 1, 1968, in Delhi, LA to the union of the late James B. Marshall and the late Loretta Upton Riser, and passed away July 22, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 20 years Sharon Tyree Marshall, brother James Ronald Marshall, and brother-in-law Glenn "Bit" Stanley.

David is survived by his daughter Lauryn Marshall of Rayville, LA; son, John Dalton Marshall and Lexi of Delhi, partner and girlfriend Sarah Riki Cole and son Julian Cole; brother, Jay Marshall and Pam, grandchildren, Raylea and Michael LeBrun; nephew, Bradley Marshall and Savanah and daughters Sophie and Railey.

Pallbearers will be John Dalton Marshall, Todd Canady, Danny Hendry, Skippy Green, James Toney, and Jack Moore.

Honorary pallbearers are Jonathan Eaton, Jay Marshall, Bradley Marshall, Kaleb Chapman, and Devin Sutherlin.
