DeAnna "Dee" Lynn Rashall

DeAnna Lynn "Dee" Rashall passed away on Sunday, November 8th, 2020 in Midland, Texas.
Dee was born on February 22nd, 1967 in Houston, Texas. She was raised in Winnsboro, Louisiana, and graduated from Winnsboro High School in 1985. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Texas Tech University and had a career as a pediatric and psychiatric nurse, followed by nursing management.
DeAnna had a vivacious personality, which could be seen in her love of all things pink and purple. She loved baseball and proudly wore her number 14 until she could no longer play due to rheumatoid arthritis. She fought hard against RA and refused to let pain limit her work and fun. Dee loved animals of all kinds, and always had a house full of pets that she had rescued. The one pet she never got was a pot-bellied pig. She was proud of her Louisiana heritage, and was always up for a crawfish boil. Dee loved the beach. Her last big vacation was to Jamaica with her Mom and friends. She and her Dad shared a love of cooking and grew a wonderful garden every year. Dee was loved more than we can express, and will always be missed.
DeAnna is survived by her mother, Shirley Rashall, of Houston, TX and her father Neal Rashall, of Midland, TX. She leaves behind her fiance, Larry Jackson, and his daughter Reina. Her beloved dogs Gemini, Noe, Brindley, and Max will be cared for by her Daddy, Neal. Dee was very close to her family, and will be missed by her aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Willie V. and Ruth Nichols, and Grady and Darth Rashall. She is also preceded by her uncle, Bill Nichols.
Honorary pallbearers are; Wallace Rashall, Calvin Rashall, Mark Rashall, Eric Rashall, Jeff Rashall, and Don Williams.
Visitation is on November 11th, 2020 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Chapel, followed by a Celebration of Life at 7:00 pm.
A graveside service and burial will be held at Ogden Cemetery in Winnsboro, Louisiana on Saturday, November 14th, 2020 at 2:00 pm.
The family wishes to thank John Lewallen for his generosity and kindness, and Trish Beasley for her gracious assistance. Thank you also to the medical staff who cared for DeAnna.
