Funeral services for Debo Westerburg, 67, of Winnsboro will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 28, 2023, at Temple Baptist Church, Winnsboro, with Rev. David Shirley and Rev. Jimmy Harper officiating, with interment following in Ogden Cemetery, Liddieville; visitation will be conducted from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Temple Baptist Church; all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home - Winnsboro.
Debo, a member of Temple Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, was employed by Progressive State Bank for twelve (12) years, after which she was employed at NELPCO as a clerk, and then as Executive Secretary, from which she retired in 2017.
She is survived by her husband of forty-four (44) years Joey Westerburg of Winnsboro; daughter Dana Westerburg of Winnsboro; parents Gertrude and Bobby Ray Fortenberry of Winnsboro; brothers: Ricky Fortenberry and wife Amy of Winnsboro, and Scott Fortenberry and wife Leah of Winnsboro; sister Penny Halbrook and husband John of Calhoun; several nieces and nephews; and other family members and a host of friends.
Pallbearers are Joe Doughty, Barry Erskin, Brady Fortenberry, Brandon Fortenberry, Ricky Fortenberry, and Scott Fortenberry.
Honorary pallbearers are the workers from NELPCO.
