Obituary

Graveside services for Donald F. Kincaid, 83, of Winnsboro will be held 1:30pm Friday September 19, 2025, at Northeast Louisiana Veteran's Cemetery with Rev. Roger Pete officiating under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home.  Visitation will be 10 am – 12 pm at the funeral home.

Donald was born August 15, 1942, in Fort Necessity to the late Frederick Forrest Kincaid and the late Clara Eva Hawthorne Sikes; and passed from this life on September 16, 2025, at Plantation Manor Nursing Center in Winnsboro.

Donald attended Winnsboro United Pentecostal Church; was ordained as a minister; and was former assistant chief of Police in Wisner. When people would ask him how he was doing and his reply was mean as a cross eyed rattle snake.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Eddie Kincaid.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Mary Kincaid; one son, Carey Johnson (Lora); one stepson, Rodney Earl Cook (Jennifer); two stepdaughters: Rebecca A. Harris, and Linda Gail Mahoney (Richard); one brother, James Samuel Kincaid; two sisters, Debbie Kincaid Parker (Marvin), and Wanda Hill (Ken); a host of grandchildren; great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
