Graveside services for Dorothy Yvonne Peevy Williams, 83, of Winnsboro, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Ogden Cemetery, under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home - Winnsboro.Dot, as she was lovingly known, was born August 16, 1940, in Gilbert, to the union of the late Lillie Mae Sales Peevy and the late Andrew Jackson Peevy, and passed peacefully to her next life Thursday, October 12, 2023, at her residence in Liddieville.Dot was a world traveler, her husband, the late William F. Williams, Jr., having been stationed at Johnson Air Force Base in Japan, and at Adana, Incirlik Common Defense Installation, in Turkey, among many others, before returning to Morgan City where they were owners of Williams Testers, Inc, who did ultrasound testing for the oilfield. Dot is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and daughters Patricia Ann brandy and Wanda Jean Hudson. She is survived by her sons: William F.
