Earline Dearing

Private family graveside services were held for Earline Dearing, 84, of Gilbert, LA Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at Chase Cemetery Chase, LA with Rev. Dale Goodman officiating under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home.

Earline was born June 18, 1935 to the union of Willie Franklin and Ola McCurley Hill in Gilbert, La and passed to her eternal home May 3. 2020 in Winnsboro, LA.

Earline, a homemaker, was a member of Chase Baptist Church, was an avid gardener who loved quilting, and cooking for her family. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.

Earline was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Levon Dearing; sons Ardice (Dee) and Wesley (Buddy) Dearing; grandson Derek Martin; brothers Junior, Don, and Wayne Hill; and sister Fay Pugh.

Earline is survived by daughters Charlotte (Brad) Sebren and Susan (William) McCarta; grandchildren Dennis, Shane, and Amy Twiner, and David (Lindsay) Martin; eight great-grandchildren; Sister Leola (Jimmy) Twiner; and brothers Jerry (Ellene) Hill of Winnsboro, and Otis Hill of Vidalia, LA.

Honorary Pallbearers were her grandsons and Robert Otis Hill.
