Funeral services for Elaine Morgan Ryals, 71, of Newellton, LA, will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Bethany Baptist Church, Newellton, LA, with Rev. John Holdiness officiating; visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday morning. Burial will follow in Legion Memorial Cemetery, Newellton, LA, all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA.

Elaine was born April 18, 1950, to the union of Clifton Howard Morgan and Trobia Moreno Morgan in Panama City, Panama, and passed from this life at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA, November 13, 2021, after a brief illness.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Lee Roy Ryals. She is survived by her sons: Jason Ryals (Jennifer) of St. Joseph, LA, and Todd Ryals (Wendy) of Quebec, LA; grandchildren: Ethan, Harlee, and Owen Ryals; brothers James Morgan of Tallulah, LA, George Morgan of Jena, LA, and Howard Morgan of Delhi, LA; Sisters: Amanda Ross of Calhoun, LA, and Betty Hammond of Newellton, LA, special nephew Spencer Williams, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be: Gage Brown, Caleb McDaniel, Joel Rushing, Ethan Ryals, Dakota Strahan, and Spencer Williams.

Honorary pallbearers will be her brothers James, George, and Howard Morgan, and nephew Robbie Williams.
