Funeral services for Ethan Michael Cottingham, 20, of Winnsboro, LA will be 2 PM Saturday September 7, 2024, at Life Church Winnsboro, with Rev. Kevin Bates, Rev. George Bates and Reverends Daniel and Dani Hawks officiating. Interment to follow in Chase Cemetery, visitation will be 5-8 PM Friday September 6, 2024, at the Church all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA

Ethan a member of Life Church, graduate of FCCS and Heavy operator with LA DOTD Chase, Ethan lived his life to the fullest every day of his life. He loved hunting, fishing, golfing and hanging out with his friends and his brother, he was always the Life of the party and loved by all who knew him, went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 3, 2024. Those that preceded him in death and who were there to meet him in his eternal home were his paternal grandfather, Ralph Cottingham, great grandparents, Barney and Barbara Cottingham, and Durrell Hays, maternal great grandparents, Lester and Jo Wallace, Mickey Ferrington, and great aunt, Sheri Miller.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents Michael E. Cottingham and Melany Wallace Cottingham; brother, Elijah Kane Cottingham; paternal grandmother Kathy Cottingham; paternal great grandmother Joye Hays; maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Debbie Wallace all of Winnsboro, LA; maternal great grandmother Dahlia Ferrington of Winnsboro, LA; uncle and aunt Jimmy Wallace and Jamie, cousins, Caden, Colston, Creed, and Walker Wallace all of Lees Summit, MO; aunt and uncle April and Gary Dickson, cousins, Tristan and Drew Dickson all of Georgia; great aunt Jean Cottingham of Winnsboro, LA; and a host of friends that loved and will miss him.

Pallbearers are Cole Casey, Colt Casey, Clayton Cheek, Gavin Dickens, Aiden Hayes, Hunter Kenney, Hunter Leonard, Raylee Thomas, and Rylan Thomas.

Honorary Pallbearers will be his coworkers of Unit 520 at Chase DOTD and Pat Jackson.
