Memorial services for William Eugene Simms, 53, of Wisner, LA, will be held at a later date.

Eugene was born November 28, 1967, to the union of William James Simms and Dorothy Irene Whittington Simms in Wisner, LA and passed from this life at Baton Rouge General Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA September 13, 2021, after a brief illness.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Larry Simms.

Eugene is survived by brother Butch Simms and wife Janie; nephew Junior Simms and wife Lynn; great nephews Tristan Simms and Bryson Simms; great great niece Gracelyn Rose Simms; sister-in-law Linda Simms, her daughter Ashley Simms, her grandchildren: John "Man-Man" Simms, Kimmie Quibodeaux, and Caroline Quibodeaux; and a host of other family and friends.
