Eula M. McHand

Funeral services for Eula M. McHand, 85, of Rayville will be held 2 pm Saturday, July 25, 2026, in the chapel of Dennard First National Funeral Home with Rev. Troy Dennard officiating. Interment will follow in Stevenson Cemetery, Rayville. Visitation will be 5-7 pm Friday, June 24, 2026 at the funeral home.

Eula was born June 21, 1941, to the union of the late Autrey Snider and the late Lala Kate Snider and passed from this life on July 21, 2026, at Ochsner LSU Health in Shreveport, LA.

Eula was known for her amazing biscuits. She loved her family and her little fur baby and enjoyed canning.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 52 years Willie “Shorty” McHand; her two brothers: Carl and Archer Snider; and one great granddaughter, Rachel Leanne Boyce.

Those left to cherish her memory include her three daughters: Carol Cain and her husband Don of DeRidder, Connie Morrison and her husband William of Rayville, and Sherry Clark and her husband Tommy of Rayville; her son, John McHand and his wife Becky of Grayson; 14 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Ashlely Jones, Heather Lisotta, Brandon McHand, Curtis McHand, Charles Morrison, and Bradley West.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jordan Crist, Matthew Jones, and Jeremy Marler.
