Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Hickingbottom, 92, of Newellton, LA will be 2 PM Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Dennard Funeral Home Chapel Winnsboro, LA with Rev. Kelly Clark and Rev. Brandon Jones officiating interment to follow in Harris Cemetery Crowville, LA, visitation will be 1 PM until service time at the funeral home all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA.

Mrs. Evelyn a member of First Baptist Church Newellton and a retired beautician was born February 23, 1934, in Swampers, LA to the union of the late Robert Houston and the late Bessie Blackmon Houston and passed away January 20, 2026, in Winnsboro, LA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul Hickingbottom, three brothers and six sisters, and is survived by four sons Paul Michael Hickingbottom and wife Treasure, Jerry DeWayne Hickingbottom, Terry Hickingbottom, and Kerry Hickingbottom; grandchildren Cary, Kelly, Casey, Cole, Amanda, Aimee, Tabitha, Kale, and Aubree; and numerous great grandchildren nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Cole Hickingbottom, Kelly Hickingbottom, Cary Hickingbottom, Kale Hickingbottom, Tommy Hale, and Tommy Crane.

Honorary pallbearers are Steven Houston and David Houston.
