Graveside services for Mrs. Frances Davis, 81, of Newellton, LA will be 10 AM, Friday, May 24, 2024, at Legion Memorial Cemetery Newellton, LA with Rev. Troy J. Dennard officiating, visitation will be 5-7 PM Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA.

Mrs. Frances was born February 27, 1943, in St. Joseph, LA to the late Horace and Vera Muse, and passed away May 21, 2024, at her home in Newellton, LA.

She was a member of Flowers Landing Baptist Church, she loved gardening, sewing and oil painting. Frances was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Michael Allen Davis.

Mrs. Frances is survived by her husband of 63 years Frank Davis Newellton, LA; son, Frank Davis, Jr. and his wife Traci of Bastrop, LA; daughter, Kelli Rene Tumlinson and her husband Donald of Colfax, LA; seven grandchildren, Shelby Diann Davis, Megan M-Lynne Jones, Alexandra Nicole Davis, William Jacob Davis, Victoria Allison Ulmer, Martin Cook, Brandon William Ulmer; seven great grandchildren; three sisters Jeanette Colvin and husband Charlie, and Nora Vivian Hawk and her husband Gene, all of Newellton, LA, and Helen Joyce Miller and her husband Steve of Winnsboro, LA; two brothers, William Horace Muse and his wife Betty of Shawnee, OK, and Christy Allen Muse of Houston, TX.
