Funeral Services for Frank Morrison Hendrix will be held at 10AM, Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Mangham Baptist Church with Brent Smart officiating. Visitation will be Monday, August 17, 2026 from 5PM - 8PM at the church. Interment will take place at Gwin Cemetery in Mangham. Arrangements are under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home, Winnsboro.

Frank Morrison Hendrix was born October 15, 1945, to the union of the late Jurd Lee Hendrix and the late Isabella Jane “Janie” Matthews Hendrix, and passed in peace on Friday August 14, 2026, at his residence after a short illness.

Frank Morrison Hendrix was a member of Mangham Baptist Church and then Baskin Baptist Church. He served Richland Parish as Constable in his younger days. He was a decades long successful sharecropper, building countless relationships over the years in the community. He loved reading his bible early every morning, his tractors, his cows and drinking coffee with friends, family and even strangers.

He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Ellis Hendrix, Bobby Hendrix and Thomas Hendrix.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara Ann Cain Hendrix, one daughter, Pam Hendrix, two sons,Tim Hendrix and Patrick Hendrix, 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren,a sister Hettie Ann Hastings, and brothers Jurd Lee “JL” Hendrix, Jr and James Emmett “Imp” Hendrix.

Pallbearers will be Rhett Gable, James Hendrix, Jr, Tom Hendrix, Jr, Jeff Boughton, Steve Gregory and “Cricket” Long. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tim Fife, Bubba Bell, Marlon Jordan, Buddy Jones, Tommy Pailette, Jimmie Parks and Ricky Fife.
