Funeral service for Garrett McMurray, 27, of Liddieville, LA will be 10 AM Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Dennard Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Rodney Ratcliff and Rev. Timothy Parker officiating. Interment to follow in Ogden Cemetery, visitation will be from 5-8 PM Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA.
Garrett enjoyed mechanicing and collecting stuff, he also loved hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather W. A. "Bo" Erskin, and paternal grandmother Sandy McMurray.
Garrett is survived by his mother Shanda Erskin of Liddieville, LA; his father Tony McMurray and wife Tammy of Choudrant, LA; brothers, Dusty Erskin and wife Victoria, and Sawyer McMurray; grandmother, Shirley Erskin all of Liddieville, LA; and grandfather Ronnie McMurray of Winnsboro, LA; uncle, Barry Erskin of Liddieville; aunt, Wendy McMurray of Chase, LA; uncle, Todd McMurray and wife Tesie of Winnsboro, LA; a host of other family and friends.
Pallbearers are Josh Boles, Dakota Erwin, Caleb Hill, Coby Hill, Cooper Hill, and Devin Mays.
