Funeral services for Gary Lynn Allen, 73, of Wisner will be held 2 pm Friday, February 21, 2025, at Dennard First National Funeral Home with Rev. Troy Dennard officiating. Interment will follow in South Central Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 pm until time of service at the funeral home.

Gary was born August 21, 1951, to the union of the late Joseph A. Allen and the late Madge Clark Allen and passed from this life on February 18, 2025, at Mary Anna Nursing Center in Wisner.

Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing bingo.

He is preceded in death by his parents; five brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his sisters: Michelle King of Wisner and Lori Roberts of Hamburg, MS; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Allen, Austin Brandenburg, Wyatt Brandenburg, Brian Griffith, Landon Meyerholtz, and R. C. Temple.

Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Allen and Tinker Roberts.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Mary Anna Nursing Center, his "work wives" Dawn, Betty and Idell.
