Funeral services for Mr. Gary M. Parker, 67, of Pearl, MS formally of Olla, LA will be 2:00 PM, Friday, December 27, 2019 at Gill First National Funeral Home-Winnsboro, LA., with Rev. Jonathon Crist officiating. Interment to follow in Harris Cemetery-near Crowville, LA, visitation will be from 12 noon until service time Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Gary Parker was a United States Army Veteran and a retired corrections officer from LaSalle Parish Detention Center. He was preceded in death by his Parents Luther and Mary Parker, wife, Maria Parker and a daughter, Maria Susan Parker.
He is survived by his , daughter Samantha Toney and her husband Brian of Rayville, LA; sons, Benjamin Parker and his wife Felicia of Pearl, MS, and William Parker and his wife Tammy of Brandon, MS; eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren; sisters, Lynette Lee of Winnsboro, LA Yvonne Ellerbe and her husband Ed of Gilbert, LA, and Pamela Emfinger and her husband Sidney of Olla, LA; brother Luther Clarence Parker and his wife Cora of Southampton, N.J.; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Thompson, Sidney "Clay" Emfinger, Dusty Emfinger, William "Ward" Ellerbe, Lloyd Peoples, and Curt Fussell.
Honorary pallbearer will be David "DJ" Fussell.
