Visitation Services for Gregory Paul Searcy, 54, of Newellton, will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro.

Gregory was born November 4, 1969, in Monroe to Ava Nell McMurray Searcy the late Thomas Edward Searcy, and passed from this life October 10, 2024, at Legacy Nursing and Rehab in Winnsboro.

Gregory loved hunting, fishing and riding horses.

He is preceded in death by his father Thomas Edward Searcy; brother Thomas Michael Searcy; sister Kay Lynn English; stepfather Johnny Merriett, and niece Hazel English.

Gregory is survived by his son Walker Searcy (Tamara); granddaughter Merriett Kathrine Searcy; mother Ava Nell Merriett; brother Randy Searcy; sisters: Cheryl Searcy and Leeann Currington; lifelong friend Red Kinney; special niece Paige Adams; a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

Honorary pallbearers are David English, Jacob Hopkins, Lee Searcy, Randy Searcy, and Walker Searcy.

The services are under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro.
