Guy
Williams
Jul 20, 1950 — Sep 11, 2025
Guy S. Williams, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on the evening of September 11, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on July 20, 1950, Guy lived a life dedicated to faith, family, hard work, charity, and service to his community.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Maria Williams; two sons, Shane Williams and his wife Lindsay, and Chad Williams and his wife Melissa. He was a proud grandfather to ten grandchildren-Hunter Johns and his wife Nicole, Alyssa Shelley and her husband Devon, Kalee Williams, Anna Williams, Kolton Williams, Kai Williams, Caitlyn Carson and her husband Dan, Caleb Oldaker, Caden Oldaker, and Cameron Oldaker-and a loving great-grandfather to eight: Riley, Mabry, Cohen, Rustin, Stella, Brantley, Raegan, and Boe.
Guy is also survived by his brothers, Billy Gene Williams and wife Ethel, and Danny Ray Williams and wife Paula; as well as his special aunt and uncle, Baker and Jackie Boyd. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Williams, and his mother, Jean Williams.
A dedicated tradesman, Guy was a proud member of the Pipeliners Local Union 798 for 57 years. He was also a longtime member of the Masonic Lodge of Crowville and a faithful member of Crowville First Baptist Church, where he lived out his values of faith, fellowship, and service.
Above all, Guy will be remembered for the love he shared with his family, his strong work ethic, his charity, and his positive attitude. He instilled in his sons the importance of always carrying both-a strong work ethic and a positive attitude-values that continue to shape their lives today. His legacy will live on through the generations he inspired.
Visitation will be held at Crowville First Baptist Church on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. This will be under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home.
Services will also be held at Crowville First Baptist Church on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 10 a.m.
The service will be led by Brother Casey Johnson, Brother Terry Ganey, and Brother Wade Coker.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Danny Ray and Paula Williams, Gloria Jones, Debbie Chapman, Toni Chapman, Rebecca Davis; to the caregivers and staff at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, AR; and to all family and friends who paid their respects and offered comfort in his final days.
In lieu of sending flowers, Guy requested that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause close to his heart.
