A graveside service for Mrs. Helen Mae Scriber will be at 10:30AM Wednesday, October 8,2025, at Ft. Necessity Baptist Church Cemetery with Clay Russell officiating, under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home.

Helen was born on November 18,1939 in Ft. Necessity, LA to the union of the late Archie D. Scriber and the late Naomi Jennings Scriber, and passed away from this life, Friday, October 3,2025, in Slidell, LA.

Miss Scriber was a seamstress for many years at the Sustan Garment Factory in Winnsboro, LA. She also managed a general store for many years.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents, two brother, Clifford "Gene" Scriber, and James "Bo" Scriber, four sisters, Mary Scriber Baker, Jimmie Scriber Breland, Betty Scriber, and Clara Scriber Lee, three nieces, Mickie Ann Scriber, Charlene Scriber, Linda Meredith, and daughter in law Theresa Scriber.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Terry G. Scriber, brothers, Gerald D. Scriber and wife Valerie Bennett Scriber, nieces, Angela Scriber, Lisa Scriber Baston, and Trisha Lee Southern, nephews, Jerry Scriber, Eugene Scriber, Ricky Scriber, Jamey Scriber, Shane Scriber, Bobby Meredith, and a host of other relatives, friends, and cousins.
