Herman Willie Barlow Sr

Funeral Services for Herman Willie Barlow Sr. will be held at 10AM, Saturday, August 1, 2026, in Kendricks Ferry Pentecostal Church with Rev. Danny Davis, Rev. James Harris, and Rev. Nathan Roberts officiating. Visitation will be Friday July 31, 2026 from 5PM-8PM at the church. Interment will take place at South Central Cemetery in Wisner. Arrangements are under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home, Winnsboro.

Mr. Barlow was born March 7, 1935, to the union of the late Hollie Barlow and the late Maude Kenney Barlow Corley, and passed from this life Wednesday July 29,2026, at his residence.

Mr. Barlow was a long time member of Kendricks Ferry Pentecostal Church. In addition to loving his church, he loved gardening, donating his produce to the widowed women of his church and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 10 siblings, and one step daughter Shonda Brooke Ferguson.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sharon Hamilton Barlow, one son Herman Willie Barlow Jr, two step daughters Shannon Ferguson Boothe and Amy Danielle Ferguson, one brother Lannie Ray Barlow, one sister Barbara Nell Lowe as well as a host of extended family.

Pallbearers will be Alec Barton, Lane Barton, Ronnie Hamilton, Jonathan Hamilton, Dexter Roberts, and Tim Whitaker. Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Hamilton and Jerry Hamilton.
