Funeral services for Jerry Griffith, 79, of Winnsboro will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Dennard First National Funeral Home - Winnsboro, with Rev. Daniel Minchew officiating; interment will follow at South Central Cemetery in Wisner; visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home; all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home - Winnsboro.Jerry, a member of Fort Necessity Baptist Church and a truck driver for thirty (30) years, was born May 24, 1944, to the union of the late Spencer Ardel Griffith and the late Rosie Odell Gallagher Griffith in Extension, LA, and passed from this life November 1, 2023, at Plantation Manor Nursing Home in Winnsboro. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, his brother James B. Griffith of Fort Necessity, and his sister Reba Griffith of Winnsboro. Jerry is survived by his wife Bernice 'Boots' Griffith of Fort Necessity; son Jerry Michael Griffith of Fort Necessity; daughter Shelley Tatum Griffith of Fort Necessity; grandchildren Morgan Griffith, Rachael Griffith, Matt Tatum, and Leah Tatum; great-grandson Raylan Kapras; several nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends.Pallbearers are Justin Gallagher, Cole Griffith, B.
