It is with profound sadness that I share the passing of my beloved husband Jewell French Freeman who left us on November 23, 2024, at the age of 80.
He was a man of immense humor and wisdom cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones. His passion was living life to the fullest with his special friends, karaokeing, laughing and loving.
He was a painter by trade, and many numerous jobs. His infectious smile and laughter along with his unwavering spirit will forever be remembered.
He is survived by his loving wife Debbie Freeman; His Children: Tony Freeman and wife Sherrie, Charlotte Freeman Ratcliff and husband Henry, Patrick Freeman, Shawn Freeman and wife Michelle, Susie Thorpe Greer and husband Cavin, and Amy Thorpe Pitre and husband Randy; grandchildren: Anthony, Amber, Tonya, Ray, Craig, Jennifer, Jessica, Justina, Jamie, Carmen, Raven, Jessie, Jay, Stephanie, Ali, Brianna, Jennifer, Devin, Ashton, and Stephen; and 18 Great Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brothers: Bobby S. Freeman, Jerry Freeman, Melvin Freeman and Kenneth Wayne Freeman; sisters Betty Jean Waltman, Joyce Whitehurst, and grandson Colton Freeman
His surviving siblings Louise Freeman Carroll, Linda Freeman Howell husband Ricky, and Mike Freeman and wife Rebecca; and his lifelong friend Wayne Masters. He is preceded in death by his Parents Samuel E Freeman and Thelma Whitehead Freeman; paternal Grandparents Commodor Freeman and Lillian; and Maternal Grandparents Luther Whitehead and Addie Beach Whitehead.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 29, 2024, at Highland Baptist Church, Natchez, MS; visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the church; all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro, LA.
