Graveside service for JoAnn Esther Browning Jones will be held 2:30 PM Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Pine Grove Cemetery, with Rev. Paul Perry officiating, visitation will be from 12pm until 2:00 pm at Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA.
JoAnn was born October 22, 1935, in Winnsboro, LA, to the union of the late James Edward Browning, and the late Iris Ann Rogers Browning, and passed from this life May 13, 2024, at Plantation Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation.
She was a member of the Baptist faith, a homemaker, and enjoyed sewing and making dolls and bracelets.
JoAnn is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Emma Lee Gilbert, brothers, John Edward Browning and Donnie Ray Browning, a grandson David James Adams.
She is survived by her sons, Glynn Edward Jones and his wife Cheryl of Winnfield, LA, Ronnie Mack Jones and his wife Sandra of Winnsboro, LA, Jerry Wayne Jones of Rayville, LA, and Randy Daryl Jones and his wife Denise of Hermitage, TN; daughters, Janet Lee McVay and her husband Aubrey of Winnsboro, LA and Marilyn Ann Jones and Dee of Bacomville, LA; her brother, Ira James Browning, and her sister Betty Lou Perew; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends and family.
Pallbearers will be T. J. Avant, Randy Hutchinson, Ethan Jones, Jacob Jones, Seth Jones, and Tucker Jones.
Honorary Pallbearer is Cooper Jones.
