Funeral services for John N. Simms, 69 of Winnsboro, LA will be 10 AM Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Dennard First National Chapel with Bro. Clay Russell, officiating with interment to follow in Oakley Cemetery. Visitation will be 9AM- 10 AM Wednesday at the funeral home, all under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LA.

John a long time Oil Field electrician, and Crew supervisor for Fresh Start, was born February 13, 1956, and passed away February 28, 2025, in Winnsboro, LA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Raymond Simms and Shirley Hanks Simms, two brothers, Harold Richmond Simms and Glen Raymond Simms.

John is survived by his long-time Companion Kellie Parks, and her son Caden Parks of Winnsboro, LA; one sister Patricia Simms Reeves and her husband Billy of Gainesville, MO. And several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Brad Clark, David Flickinger, Carl Jenkins, Larry Ligon, Robert Livingston, and Danny Wallace.
